Keeping Cats Homed is an all-volunteer based charity that rescues kittens and young cats that might otherwise have no one to care for them. The kittens and cats are placed in foster homes, where they are socialized and provided with proper nutrition and veterinary care to ensure that they are healthy and vaccinated before they are placed in forever, loving homes.
As an all-volunteer, home-based charity, our administrative overhead is extremely low and as such, any funds raised through donations, fundraisers, grants and adoption fees go directly to providing the essentials of kitten care, including kitten milk, cat food, cat litter, bedding and veterinary services.
It is the goal of Keeping Cats Homed, while working closely with all other animal welfare groups on PEI, to reduce the population of abandoned and unwanted cats and kittens, thus improving the lives of all cats and kittens on PEI.
