The KOM CPC is Southwest Vancouver’s Community Policing Centre, connecting community members, businesses and agencies with the Vancouver Police Department. While offering a variety of crime prevention services, education and safety initiatives what the KOM CPC is best known for is it's outreach program.
Each year the KOM CPC aim to help as many minority groups as possible with their outreach. The biggest of these outreaches is the "Warm Winter Wishes" program starting in 2020 - yearly gifts are purchased and donated to adults and children in need during the Christmas period.
Your donation to the KOM CPC can help with everything from uniforms for volunteers, foot patrol programs to help keep the community safe from crime, to outreach programs to help people in need and more. Every dollar received goes to fill the gap between basic funding for community policing and the actual cost for providing these services to the community.
The Kerrisdale Oakridge Marpole Community Policing Centre’s jurisdiction also includes the neighborhoods of Dunbar, Hillcrest, Arbutus, Shaughnessy and South Cambie.
