KidsPlay Foundation is committed towards keeping kids away from the lifestyle of drugs, gangs, and violence, by reinforcing a sense of belonging and self-worth in vulnerable youth. Thus far, with over 1200 members, spearheading over 75 projects and 280 programs, KidsPlay has impacted over 100,000 youth through our free of cost programs since our inception in 2015. Our six streams: sports, mentorship, education, mental health and counselling, environment and community engagement are contributing factors towards reducing youth crime by giving young people a positive identity, feelings of empowerment and by helping youth acquire leadership, teamwork, and self-governance skills under adult supervision. With Covid 19, our focus has grown towards our mentorship and counselling programs. These programs are being developed to meet the rising need for mental health support in youth. All programs are provided by highly trained staff to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of each program. Leaving no child behind. It takes a village to raise a child, we are that village. KidsPlay serves youth and families across Canada, with established chapters in BC, AB and ON.
