The UN Convention on the Rights of the Child confirmed that engaging in artistic, cultural and recreational experiences is a children’s right.

We understand the importance of food, shelter, and safety in a child’s life – these are rights necessary for survival. We're focusing on the right to fun and the kinds of experiences that make life worth living!

About Kids Up Front Edmonton

Kids Up Front proudly offers kids access to artistic, cultural, sporting and recreational experiences by working with 200+ youth-serving partner agencies in Edmonton and area.

The experiences we offer to kids can increase their sense of belonging, improve health, and help nurture kids to be active members of their society.

For just $20, you create 1 enriching experience for a child and their chaperone – whether it’s a family member, coach or mentor. Together, we help create a safe and vibrant community for this generation and the ones to come.

More About Our Partners

Our youth-serving agency partners work with children from all sorts of backgrounds, including at risk and vulnerable populations that may be affected by various concerns which create barriers to inclusion in the community. These may include poverty, homelessness, critical and chronic health issues, complex social and personal challenges, being newcomers to Canada or refugees, mental health issues, addictions, etc.
