Kids Up Front Atlantic creates joy, promotes inclusion, and strengthens communities by connecting children and youth to enriching experiences. Through in-kind donations we provide free access to arts, cultural, and sporting events, camps, at-home activities and more for children facing barriers to these programs. We reach the children most in need of support through our network of 22 child-serving Partner Agencies in the Halifax region.

Kids Up Front improves the well-being and emotional health of our program participants. We provide safe opportunities for kids to be kids, fostering inclusion while having fun, exploring their community and escaping the stressors of daily life. Partaking in these experiences leads to a self-reported increase in self-esteem and self-identity. Experience recipients report feeling an expanded worldview and discovering new interests and skills. By removing barriers, we connect children to new possibilities, opening their eyes to dreams they had previously never known.
