This winter, Kind Reach Foundation is bringing comfort and dignity to women and children staying in shelters across Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver.
For many families, a shelter is a fresh start after leaving an unsafe or unstable situation, and they often arrive with very little. The cold months and the holidays can be especially hard. Our Winter Comfort Campaign makes sure these mothers and children have the essentials they need and know their community is behind them.
How it works: Before we buy anything, we talk with shelter managers so every item meets a real need. Our volunteers then purchase, pack and deliver donations to shelters in all three cities.
Your donation helps provide:• Menstrual products and hygiene essentials• Diapers and baby supplies• Warm winter clothing for mothers and children• Comfort items for kids• Culturally meaningful items for the families shelters serve
Every donation receives an official tax receipt. Thank you for helping a mother and her kids feel safe, warm and cared for this winter.
