We are the only 2SLGBTQ+ nonprofit in Ottawa with year-round programming and services for all ages. 100% by and for 2SLGBTQ+ communities.
OUR PURPOSE
Kind Space is a community centre in Ottawa – unceded Algonquin territory – that offers resources, events, social and educational programming. Our work celebrates, supports, and prioritizes oppressed sexual orientations, gender identities, and expressions.

Our programming includes the following:
- 12 peer-led discussion/support groups
- social drop-in
- Dr. Kelly McGinnis library
- A Trans ID Clinic for those looking to change their name and/or gender marker on official documents
- Meeting space for community groups, collectives, and organizations
- Letters of support for 2SLGBTQ+ refugees
