Changing Lives Through Language & Learning!
Since 1977, Kingston Literacy & Skills (KL&S) has helped adults in Kingston, Napanee, and surrounding communities improve their literacy, language, and essential skills. As a non-profit community organization, we provide free programs and services that support adults in achieving their educational, employment, and personal goals.
KL&S offers personalized instruction in English language, reading, writing, math, computers, and job skills in a welcoming and supportive learning environment. We believe every learner deserves the opportunity to build confidence, independence, and the skills needed for success.
To help reduce barriers to learning, KL&S also provides financial assistance for eligible learners, including support for transportation, childcare, and assistive technology.
For more than 48 years, over 15,000 adults have achieved success through KL&S programs and services. With two welcoming and accessible locations, as well as day, evening, online, and hybrid learning options, we are committed to providing flexible supports to help adults in our community thrive.
