As a not-for-profit, every dollar that you contribute to Kingston WritersFest directly impacts our organization.  Your donation will help us to support artists, increase the capacity of our team, enhance programs and assist us in our operating expenses for our 15th anniversary. It also helps to ensure that we can continue to achieve our Vision to promote diverse literary expression, develop and grow an audience for the literary arts, and foster the artistic development of writers of all ages.

We are so pleased to have Lindy Mechefske join us for a very special event! Join us for a virtual conversation on a window into the past, exploring the history of cooking in Ontario, from traditional bread recipes, to main course dishes and finishing with some delicious desserts, there is something for everyone.

If everyone in our community donated $5, we would hit our goal to raise $10,000 which would help us cover the operational costs of running the Festival.

If you do donate today, we've gathered a lineup of stellar perks to thank you all which include:  

• For every donation of $5, you’ll be sent a signed thank you postcard. 
• For our special $15 for 15 years, you’ll be put into a raffle to win one of five copies of David Adams Richards’ The Tragedy of Eva Mott and a packet of three of our 2022 festival bookmarks.
• For $30, you’ll be put into a draw to win a spot for a 5 minute pitch session with a literary agent (5 spots available).
• For $50, 6 people will be invited to join KWF Staff for an evening drink at Curate.Social to provide feedback or share ideas in person.

• For any donation over $100 you'll be put into a raffle to win a Festival Pass for our 2023 festival. 
• For a donation of $2,023 you'll get a free pass to every event in 2023 and get to pitch the programming of 1 author for our anniversary Festival line-up.
