Kiwanis Charities of Saint John is dedicated to improving the lives of children and families in our community by providing support where it is needed most.
We work in partnership with local organizations and professionals to support individuals with disabilities, children with autism, and families living in underprivileged neighbourhoods. We also contribute to research and provide assistance to children living with Type 1 diabetes.
A cornerstone of our work is the Kiwanis Orthodontic Program, which provides funding for children who require orthodontic treatment for health reasons but whose families cannot afford care. Through partnerships with local orthodontists, we ensure children receive essential treatment that improves their health, confidence, and long-term well-being.
In addition, we invest in the community by maintaining Kiwanis Play Parks, creating safe and welcoming spaces where children and families can gather, play, and thrive.
