The Kitchener-Waterloo Kiwanis Music Festival has been a service project of the Kiwanis Club since 1948, and is the largest annual music education event in the KW region. Each year the festival distributes $8000-$20000 in scholarships to deserving music students, with prizes ranging from $25-$500 These scholarships are donated by local businesses, arts organizations and private donors.
The festival also runs the Kiwanis Music Education Fund which provides bursaries for music lessons. The bursary fund ensures that students who are experiencing financial challenges may still access music lessons with a qualified music teacher in our area.
You donation may be directed to either the Scholarship Fund, the Kiwanis Music Education Fund or to the KW Kiwanis Music Festival Operations. We thank you for your support of this long standing community event!
