Primary Objectives of Komoka Railway Museum:
1. Display, restoration, storage of items relating to the history of the railways in Komoka.
2. To seek out and acquire items related to the area and its history of the railways.
3. Explore ways to present the history of Komoka, Kilworth and the former Lobo township.
We are a non-profit charity and rely on grants and contributions from the public. We fund-raise to assist in covering ongoing costs of operation and to fund building and artefact restoration. We have no paid employees, aside from our summer help whose salary is supported by a federal Canada Summer Jobs grant. Much of our work is carried out by unpaid volunteers.
