The Kootenay Doukhobor Historical Society oversees the Doukhobor Discovery Centre. The Doukhobor Discovery Centre is a public museum that preserves and promotes the history and culture of the Doukhobor people. Located in Castlegar, British Columbia, the Doukhobor Discovery Centre stands as a replica Doukhobor communal village and is home to over 1,600 artifacts that illuminate the Doukhobors' history in Russia and Canada.
