The Rimouski Regional Museum is located in the oldest church made out of stone east of Quebec on the south shore of the Saint-Lawrence River. The Museum offers yearlong programs that address contemporary art, regional history and sciences through the development of its permanent collection, temporary exhibitions, and educational and public activities for diverse public including children, youth, teens, adults, seniors as well as people with special needs. The Museum aims to be a catalyst between art, history, sciences and the public through debates and discussions on subjects of interest within the region and its community.
