The building, built between 1933 and 1935 and severely damaged by a devastating fire in 2002, is in need of major renovations to return it to its former glory.
The Cathedral Basilica of Saint Cecilia is considered a masterpiece of Gothic Revival architecture and one of the most beautiful places of worship in Canada.
