Founded in 1983, the Roger Talbot Foundation is a registered charity organisation.
Mission:
Our mission has two components. The first comp0nent is to help those who live with an intellectual disability. The second is to help those in a crisis situation of financial vulnerability.
The members of the board of directors as well as our many volunteers devote themselves daily and year after year towards attaining our common goal - promoting social interaction, integration and inclusion.
Goal :
Our goal is to break the feeling of loneliness that our clients so often live with. We believe that in doing so we can help them to attain a sense of wellbeing and help to develop their full potential.
We thrive to attain our goal through the several activities that we offer. Namely a professional integration program offered at our thrift shop, life skills workshops and a specialized summer camp of 4 weeks in duration offered on our camping ground.
