La Jeunesse Choirs is a community-based choral arts program for youth in Northumberland County. 

Under amazing instruction from Markus Howard, Artistic Director and Debbie Fingas, Musical Director, the choir learns all aspects of singing and musical theatre performance. With a full compliment of rehearsals, community appearances and workshops they develop perseverance, discipline, teamwork, camaraderie and of course performance skills. Our aim is to provide a sense of accomplishment and confidence that choir members will take back into their schools and communities.

To run our first-class program, La Jeunesse relies on a combination of fees and fundraising. We keep fees low to allow more families to participate and we also have subsidies available for families who could not otherwise afford to send their children. The remaining funds are raised through concert ticket sales, group fundraising campaigns, corporate donations, sponsorships, foundation grants, special events and from individuals who believe in the magic of La Jeunesse Choirs.
