La Maison des parents d'enfants handicapés des Laurentides is a non-profit organization founded in 1988 by parents of children with disabilities, with the hope of sharing experiences and supporting one another. The organization is located in Saint-Jérôme, in the Laurentians region.
Our mission is to offer a variety of services tailored to the needs of individuals with intellectual disabilities, with or without physical disabilities, as well as to their families and support networks, in order to promote their social inclusion and well-being.
The involvement of our member families and the community is essential. It is thanks to you—and with you—that we are able to meet the needs of families.
Your ideas and expertise are valuable. Please don’t hesitate to call us—we would be happy to talk with you, answer your questions, and provide more details about our services. We are also always open to welcoming new volunteers. The union of each person’s strengths is what makes us strong.
We also offer services to those close to a person with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
