We volunteer to help the less fortunate in our area. The Lake Cowichan Foodbank has been doing things a little differently since the onset of the COVID-19 Pandemic. We have been purchasing grocery cards to put into the monthly hampers to our clients in need,  where they can go and shop for that little extra that we don't have available in our food storage supplies. Giving those in need of support the opportunity to continue shopping for themselves and their loved ones without loosing any dignity while they are going through a rough patch due to unforeseen circumstances.
