The Lake of the Woods District Hospital Foundation is dedicated to fundraising in partnership with our community to meet the medical equipment and facility needs of the Lake of the Woods District Hospital.
About Lake of the Woods District Hospital Foundation
The Lake of the Woods District Hospital Foundation was established in 1992 and continues to be the lifeline between your community and your hospital.
LWDHF is governed by an eleven member board which meets monthly; has three full time employees; and benefits from over 2,500 volunteer hours per year.
We are dedicated to raising funds for new medical equipment and capital infrastructure upgrades for Lake of the Woods District Hospital. Since our inception, LWDHF has transferred over $17 million to Lake of the Woods District Hospital.
Your donations to the Lake of the Woods District Hospital Foundation support new medical equipment and upgrades in all areas of LWDH, including emergency and ambulatory care, chronic care, diagnostic imaging, acute care services, and many others. Together we are ensuring that when you need your hospital, your hospital has what it needs to take care of you!
