We are thrilled to highlight the latest Lambda Scholarship award for students available at McMaster University: The Lambda Scholarship Canada Graduate Award Fund!

We have been working to create action items building from our 2020 statement and commitment to address systemic racism in Canada. A focal point of our efforts in 2023 was to establish new awards tailored for marginalized youth to combat systemic oppression and discrimination.

The award at McMaster University is Lambda's first award that is specifically geared towards queer and trans students who are Black, racialized, or Indigenous in their first year of study in any program. This award commitment is $3,000 over three years. $1,000 will be awarded each year to a different recipient.

We invite community members and Lambda supporters to donate to help us meet our fundraising goal of $1,000 to fund the new award at McMaster University!
