The Lanark Highlands Food Pantry exists to provide support to those struggling with food disparity in our rural Ottawa Valley region.
Lanark Highlands Food Pantry is the food bank that serves the Lanark Highlands township and surrounding area. We represent more than 100 clients a month and up to 150 families over the course of a year.
The Food Bank operates out of the basement of St. Andrews United Church three days a week.
We also operate the Lanark Highlands Thrift store at 47 George Street in the village of Lanark which helps offer inexpensive clothing and other items to our rural population. The revenues from the thrift store help the mandate of the food pantry in alleviating food disparity in our community.
