L'Arche Calgary provides homes and community for people with developmental disabilities. The people we support in our homes are a high risk and very vulnerable group for the COVID-19 virus and as a result, we have had to increase staffing to keep people safe. We also have extra costs due to purchasing extra protective supplies such as hand sanitizer, thermometers, gloves, masks, eye protection, isolation/surgical gowns, and cleaning supplies.
