Our Mission
Since 1995, L’Artothèque is an organism dedicated to the visual arts. The concept of this artistic institution is similar to a library: it offers a service of original artwork rental to individuals, corporations and even film sets. In line with its mission of broadcasting and democratization of the arts, L’Artothèque offer a variety of cultural and artistic workshop to communities and organizes exhibitions presenting artworks from different fields.

L’Artothèque democratizes culture and allow all public to become familiar with the Visual Arts. Its role is to provide support and visibility to the artist members, including the emerging artists.
L'Artothèque, a non profit-making organization, is also member of the Society of Quebec museums and MuséesMontréal.
