Founded in 1993, Le Trait d'Union is a community organization whose mission is to accompany and support people living with a mental health problem in their personal and professional integration process.Through various means and varied training as well as direct services offered to our members, we tend to:

* Promote the reintegration and rehabilitation of our members on the social, personal and professional level through a contribution of support, assistance or assistance in this process of quest for autonomy

* Accompany the person in his process of acquiring skills and skills of daily living

* To sensitize the population on the difficulties related to a mental health problem, and to demystify the causes, the symptoms and the consequences

* Offer social housing with community support to low-income people living with a mental health problem

"The self-help group is defined with an alternative approach. We privilege the person first with a different way to accommodate psychic suffering and emotional distress. In a mental health support group, the distress of some people rubs shoulders with the human warmth of others, and that is what contributes to developing a dynamic group life that is supportive and alive for everyone. The self-help group is both a refuge and a place of fulfillment. It is a relational place where a particular energy is developed which is conducive to mutual aid.¹ "
