LOI is Canada’s leading youth accelerator that champions entrepreneurship and innovation among young Canadians, ages 18 - 30.
About Us
League of Innovators is a national Canadian charity backing the next generation of entrepreneurs.
Founded in 2016 by Hootsuite founder Ryan Holmes, LOI was built around a simple idea: young founders should not have to figure everything out alone.
Today, we support entrepreneurs across Canada with free, equity-free programs, practical advice from experienced founders, and a national community that helps them build stronger ventures and become stronger founders.
Through LOI, founders get access to:
- Free entrepreneurship programs from early-stage building through growth and scaling
- Peer community, mentorship, accountability, and founder wellbeing support
- Connections to experienced founders, advisors, partners, investors, and opportunities across Canada
Since 2016, more than 2,000 founders have joined the LOI community. Together, ventures founded by our community have created more than $1.8 billion in enterprise value and raised more than $100 million in capital.
Why this work matters
Canada needs more entrepreneurs. But starting a company is still harder than it needs to be, especially for young founders without established networks, significant financial resources, or access to the right people.
LOI works to remove those barriers.
Our programs are free, virtual, equity-free, and open to founders across sectors and business models. We invest in the person behind the venture, helping founders build the skills, relationships, confidence, and resilience they need to stay in the game.
