Organizational History and Purpose
The Learning Disabilities Association of Peel Region (LDAPR) is a charitable, non-profit organization dedicated, since 1996, to improving the lives of children, youth and adults with learning disabilities, Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Attention-Deficit Disorder (ADD).
Our strength comes from the community -- with members and volunteers from all walks of life supporting the organization with a passion for helping people with learning disabilities and their families to achieve their full potential.
We are a local chapter of the Learning Disabilities Associations of Canada and Ontario. Together we assist people with learning disabilities and their families by providing support, guidance, resources, information, educational programs and workshops and support groups along with activities that raise public awareness about learning disabilities.
