Who We Are

Leave No Trace is a national and international program designed to assist outdoor enthusiasts with their decisions about how to reduce their impacts while they are recreating outdoors. 

The program strives to educate all those who enjoy the outdoors about the nature of their recreational impacts as well as techniques to prevent and minimize such impacts.

We have more than 100 partners reaching all coasts and touching nearly all types of outdoor activities.  Our message has been shared in Canada since 2006 and remains as relevant as ever today.

We rely on our donors, members and partners in order to carry on with our activities in Canada. Our message is built around our 7 Principles which act as guidelines for actions "on the ground" across any of the parks and natural areas we are so fortunate to enjoy in Canada.
