Our foundation is unable to keep up with the incoming demands for Togo dogs considering our enormous success and innumerable amount of positive testimonies. We are missing 50 000$ to be able to sustain the growth of our foundation. 

Since almost 3 years, we have been adding to our team psychoeducators and dog trainers to train abandoned dogs into becoming psychological assistance dogs. We have been training an army of volunteers for the evaluation of dogs over 30 shelters across the province with whom we have an established collaboration. We now have handed over 30 dogs.

Our organization's renown is now well establish in the health care domain with psychologists, psychiatrists and psychosocial workers who recognize the quality of our service (i.e. screening, dog/human pairing, training, follow-ups, etc) and refer clients to the foundation with enthusiasm. Our waiting list is now overflowing with over 200 new applications every week.

Our foundation does not benefit from governmental subsidies; therefore, we are constantly looking at renewing our funding. As an exclusive provider of psychological assistance dog for Wounded Warriors Canada, the training of dogs for veterans, soldiers, and first respondents are completely covered. On the other hand, this funding does not cover any administrative fees or training costs for dogs designated for children or adults not eligible for WWC. We do receive generous donations from Oven Baked Tradition who allowed us to train Kawaii, Togo dog for a child. Centre Local de Développement de la Vallée-Richelieu also allotted a generous grant for us to continue to provide our services for free along with some bursaries.

Nonetheless, there is a lack of financial resources of 50 000$, which represents about 6 months of salary for our 7 employees who are well unpaid for the passionate work and devotion they constantly demonstrate towards the objective of providing a meaningful change in the life of dogs and humans in need. Everybody has to pay their bills, pay rent and provide for basic needs of daily life no matter how devoted they might be.

We now rely on all our supporters who have been with us since the beginning and who have been witnessing all that we can do these past few years to contribute financially and solicit those around them.
