With its creative approach to the great classics, as well as through the innovative new works it presents to its audiences, Les Grands Ballets is able to move its spectators. Differently.

Performing in Montreal and some 10 North American and European cities for 100,000 spectators annually, the company of 35 dancers seeks to ensure the accessibility of the ballet to future generations. One of the country’s most highly reputed performing arts troupes, Les Grands Ballets acts both as presenter of some of the world’s most exciting ballet companies in Montreal, and, on tour, as cultural ambassador for Montreal and Canada. Critics everywhere laud the work of the company, which just celebrated its 50th Anniversary.

Les Grands Ballets’ educational projects reach 3,500 children each year, including many from disadvantaged backgrounds. The company also produces free summer performances, and devotes certain shows to helping raise money for other charitable causes.
