Our mission
A "maison de jeunes" as it's called in Quebec, is above all a place to meet others and experiment new things for the teenagers, a place where you can try, make mistakes et try again. Making mistakes is a form of learning life. The atmosphere in a organism as ours is favorable to establish new relationships and connect with new people based on trust and respect. Theses relationships between teenagers and adults are the base of the prevention and the intervention.
About us
L’Hôte Maison is a non lucrative organism for teenagers of the Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie (Montreal, QC) neighborhood, teenagers who are searching for an animated and lifeful place where they can realize lots of projects and participate to organized activities. Through those, the teenagers learn to be active, decisive and responsable citizen.
A qualified team is available all the time to listen, inform, guide and refer the teenagers in need. Furthermore, they're active in all the decisional process and participate equally in the democratic life of the organism. A so-called "maison des jeunes" was created by and for the teenagers.
