Life’s Seasons’ Mission is to come alongside children, youth, and individuals of all ages who are in need of support while going through difficult life experiences.  Our aim is to encourage, equip, and empower those who are hurting, as well as those who work with them, with the skills and resources necessary to journey through those times.

Our Vision is to see that all individuals feel and know that they are welcomed, valued and supported here at Life’s Seasons. We believe that within every person is the strength and ability to persevere and prevail in and through life’s challenging seasons.

-Current space at 805 Christina St North and exploring options as we need to expand our space again.

-We became the first accredited training agency, successfully completing Starr Commonwealth’s trauma informed accreditation requirements for our expertise and commitment to building resilience in the lives of the individuals, families, and communities we serve.

One of the mentionable ways we are committed to serving our community and dedicated to the essence of inclusion, is by serving the needs of those we meet, no matter their financial capabilities to pay for services.  We are a fee for service agency; however, no one is ever turned away for financial reasons.  We are diligent in our efforts to raise funds, and we also receive donations from groups, organizations, individuals and churches.  For those who sit across from us and say they have no ability to pay, we can say “that’s ok, you deserve care, and someone has already covered the cost for you”.

 Who we serve:

Life's Seasons supports all age groups across the spectrum.  We are trained and equipped to competently work with children, adolescents, young adults, adults and seniors.  We offer diverse resources to specialize in the appropriate care required for whatever age range or circumstance.

In brief, Life's Seasons provides confidential care and support for individuals, couples, and families; across the lifespan who are facing difficult seasons in their lives.

We also provide training for professionals and volunteers who work with these individuals in various settings. 

We work within the communities of Aamjiwnaang First Nation and Kettle and Stony Point First Nation but serve all First Nations people of Canada through Indigenous Services Canada and the Non-Insured Health Benefits program for Mental Health Counselling, Indian Residential Schools Resolution Counselling, and Counselling related to the impact of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women.
