Drive Happiness

Registered Name: DRIVE HAPPINESS SENIORS ASSOCIATION

Business Number: 862421310RR0001

Drive Happiness is an affordable transportation program whose focus is low resource, isolated seniors. Drive Happiness is a volunteer driven program that serves seniors located throughout the Edmonton Capital Region.

The program is provided by Drive Happiness Seniors Association, a registered not-for-profit charitable organization.  Drive Happiness provides reliable, affordable, accessible, and safe transportation so that seniors can maintain an independent and community engaged lifestyle, while still living in their own homes.

Seniors value their independence, but it is lost when they can no longer drive or access transportation to go shopping, banking, reach clinics or many of the other required services needed to age well.  In addition to helping seniors maintain independence, Drive Happiness strives to overcome social isolation which becomes commonplace for seniors who are unable to get out into their community.  Our friendly, trained drivers give the senior someone to talk to and connect with.

In 2018, Drive Happiness provided almost 18,000 rides to socially-isolated, mobility challenged and low income seniors.

Please help us to continue giving rides to our seniors!  Your dollars will enable us to subsidize those seniors who can not even afford our small ride fees, plus your dollars will enable us to sustain this amazing transportation program, which has been reaching seniors since 1998.

Donate now and help us continue to Drive Happiness!
