The Light Up Your Life Society is a volunteer-run not-for-profit organization supporting the needs of Palliative/Hospice and Continuing care clients in the Tri-Community Area (Parkland County/Town of Stony Plain/City of Spruce Grove) since 1992.

In an effort to further enhance the support to families and patients at Westview Hospice, and as a special 30th Anniversary project, the LUYL Society is fully funding a 1,500 sq. ft. addition to Hospice which will include a Family Room, Kitchenette, Family Sleep Room, Bathroom and Solarium.  It is estimated to cost $550,000.00 with projected completion in 2023.

Support for the family is an essential component of the palliative/hospice care philosophy.  Our "Solarium Legacy Project" will provide a much needed space for families, friends and patients to gather for meals and companionship and/or privacy and peaceful reflection.  When spending extended periods of time with their loved one it will afford them the opportunity to rest and refresh themselves while remaining close.
