LIMESTONE LEARNING FOUNDATION (LLF) - WHO ARE WE?
For more than 25 years, our not-for-profit organization has supported schools in the Limestone District School Board (LDSB) across Kingston, Napanee, and North, South, and Central Frontenac.
Financial contributions received by the LLF provide funding for innovative projects and learning opportunities that extend beyond and enhance what is supported through Ministry of Education and LDSB funding. From engaging speaker presentations that foster curiosity and collaboration to specialized hands on tools and resources that support science, mathematics, arts, and technology programs, all donations help empower students to learn, explore, and succeed.

Our Vision
Is to inspire excellence in education by funding school and classroom initiatives that demonstrate creativity, innovation, empowerment, equity & inclusion and ensure that an increasing range of educational opportunities will be available for all students, now and in the future.

With donations and money raised from fundraisers, the Foundation funds unique projects with an emphasis on Mentorship, Sustainability and Pay-it-Forward.
Mentorship: older students mentoring younger ones; community members mentoring students
Sustainability: creative ways to ensure the project has long-term results
Pay-it-Forward: building on ideas that can expand and grow into new learning possibilities
As a public, non-profit Foundation with charitable status, all gifts are completely tax deductible, in accordance with Canada Revenue Agency guidelines.
