Our Mission
Lina's Home is a non-profit organization founded in 2005 that provides 15 rooms on the territory of Laval.
In addition to offering security, shelter and support for women and children who are victims of domestic violence, its mission is:
• To increase awareness of women and children's rights.
• To create and find means to put an end to domestic violence and help women regain control of their lives.
• To defend and promote the rights and interest of women through public awareness activities that demystify domestic violence and look at its individual and social consequences.
About Lina's Home
Lina's Home offers a range of free services regardless of whether you are staying there or not. The home si open 24/7 and provides:
• A warm environment where you will be welcomed and listened to without being judged.
• Pertinent, accurate information and references.
• Support groups.
• Individual meetings with a counsellor.
• Mother and child couselling.
• Someone to help and accompany you for legal appointments or other meetings.
• Prevention and awareness activities.
