Lindenwood Ministries provides financial supports to vulnerable people in Grey Bruce through partner charities
Lindenwood Ministries charter's first object was to offer a residential program to young men aged 18 to 29 in Grey Bruce to overcome their emotional, spiritual, addiction and vocational challenges. Unfortunately enough funding to run that program was not raised, and the property was sold in 2017. Funds from the sale are being used to support like minded programs for children, men and women run by other Christian charities in Grey Bruce such as the Wiarton Salvation Army, the Youth Unlimited YFC Owen Sound, etc.
Wiarton Salvation Army has experience offering practical Trades Start Programs in Carpentry, Welding, Horticulture and Culinary, Life skill courses, etc.
Their Guide By Your Side program provides trained mentors to help vulnerable parties address personal issues through personal goal setting and accountability.
We also support for the Equine Miracle Project which helps youth gain the ability to connect with caring for horses and learning to ride them confidently. They can also interact with other farm animals, and participate in gardening. The program features an annual children's rodeo at the Majestic Woods Farm.
