Linking Hope is a registered charity that connects surplus resources with real community needs.
We act as a community supply network, linking businesses and individuals with surplus goods to over 120 frontline agencies and northern communities that support people facing poverty, homelessness, displacement, and crisis.
Many organizations do the critical work of supporting people directly — but they often lack the time, space, or corporate connections to secure essential supplies. Linking Hope fills that gap.
We work with corporate partners, volunteers, and community supporters to:
• Collect surplus goods from businesses and individuals• Sort, decommission, and prepare items for distribution• Connect supplies directly to frontline agencies that support people in need
By acting as a bridge between donors and community agencies, we help ensure quality items reach the people who need them most — quickly and with dignity.
Through this network, Linking Hope helps move hundreds of truckloads of supplies each year, supporting agencies that provide services to families, newcomers, youth, and people experiencing homelessness across Manitoba.
Donations also allow us to purchase essential items that are difficult to source through surplus donations, such as:
• Socks• Underwear• Hygiene products• Winter clothing and outerwear
These items are purchased in bulk or at cost from partner businesses and distributed at no charge to agencies supporting community members.
Every contribution helps transform surplus into support — strengthening community connections, reducing waste, and ensuring people have access to the basic essentials they need.
