The Skills Upgrading Centre (Literacy Council York-Simcoe) is an Ontario-based non-profit organization that is dedicated to assisting English-speaking adults in our community to acquire essential skills, computer, employment skills, and life skills. For more than 35 years, we have provided a safe, supportive, and confidential service to those who want to improve their skills.
We serve more than 500 people annually, providing one-to-one tutoring with trained volunteers, small class instruction, and computer-assisted and online learning opportunities.
