The Little People of Manitoba (LPM) is a non-profit, registered charity, dedicated to creating awareness about the prominent issues affecting people with dwarfism, and providing social support for Little People in Manitoba.
The Little People of Manitoba (LPM) was established in Winnipeg in 1981. The membership consists of persons of short stature, as well as their families and friends. Members of LPM meet regularly to discuss the important topics affecting people of short stature and engage in social activities.
Our mission is to create awareness and educate the general public about dwarfism; to promote a positive image of people of short stature; to provide social, emotional and educational support to people of short stature and their families; to encourage life-long acquaintanceship; and to enhance life opportunities for all little persons in Manitoba, in a non-profit, non-sectarian and non-political fashion.
