About LJYO - LA JEUNESSE YOUTH ORCHESTRA INC

La Jeunesse Youth Orchestra provides young musicians with the stimulating experience of performing a wide range of symphonic repertoire. Small group coaching from experienced adult players enhances skills and builds confidence. LJYO performs full orchestral programs in December, March and May.

The Orchestra serves students from the region bounded by Oshawa, Peterborough, and Colborne. Members also participate in enrichment and development activities during the season. 

Bursaries are available for financial assistance, please see our website. LJYO also maintains awards and scholarships for members who have completed more than one year with the orchestra.
