LOFT believes that no one's challenges are too complex and no one is too hard to serve. We help people 16 years of age and older, with programs based in Toronto, York Region and south Simcoe County. Through a range of our innovative services, we help our fellow human beings reconnect with their self-worth and enter their community in a meaningful way. We offer supportive housing and various services to meet individual needs and help people reach their goals.
Our workers have strong skills in coordinating care and services so that each client gets the right services, in the right place, at the right time.
We provide services that are truly client-centred: that means, mobile, flexible, innovative and timely, and accepted voluntarily by our service users.
We want to lead in the employment of peer workers (individuals with lived experience) to enhance our authentic and non-judgmental environment and services.
LOFT excels at supporting the successful transition to housing for people who have experienced long-term or chronic homelessness, whether on the street or in institutions like hospitals or prisons.
