The London Community Orchestra was formed in 1974 and serves the London community by providing an opportunity for both amateur and former professional musicians to play classical music for our local community. The orchestra performs four concerts each season at the Dundas Street Centre United Church, 482 Dundas St.
Each year in December, the orchestra presents a concert featuring three or more young musicians as soloists from the London-Middlesex region.
Like most cultural organizations, the orchestra relies on donations to meet its financial requirements. Orchestra members pay a membership fee to play in the orchestra and the orchestra receives revenue from ticket sales to our concerts. However, these sources provide only part of the orchestra’s expenses. Without your donations, the LCO could not continue to function at its present level.
