About LONDON DOWN SYNDROME ASSOCIATION (L D S A)
Established in 1983, as the Parent-to-Parent Support Group, what is now the London Down Syndrome Association was initiated by a group of parents who were attending the Child and Parent Research Institute’s support group. We are a group of individuals who seek to further the goals of the association.. At the head of the association is an Executive Committtee (Board of Directors), who directs the activities of the association with input from the membership as a whole. We are an association of people with Down Syndrome, their families and friends. But also we have in our numbers, several professionals, organizations and companies who are also interested in furthering our goals. Lastly, we are a group of dedicated volunteers who are passionate about accomplishing the goals of the association. After all, “Accomplishments Are Awesome”.
