The radios that the London Search and Rescue team use are aging and losing effectiveness. We are aiming to purchase 5 fairly quickly, and 10 by the end of 2024. For this campaign we are requesting funding for 5 radios, a multi-unit charger, 5 speakerphone kits and 5 ear pieces.
Clear and reliable radios are essential for the operations of our team. Whether sending information to the Command Post or receiving tasking from the Command post, a search is best facilitated with all parties being able to relay information.
