Many people think the abuse stops after she leaves but it doesn't.  In reality, this is when the risk of harm to her and her children increases significantly.  50% of domestic fatalities occur within two months of leaving an abusive relationship.

The abuser's overarching goal will be to maintain power and control of her any way he can - even in the courtroom he will push the limits with legal bullying.  Without our guidance, women struggle through family court and emerge far too often with unsafe custody arrangements, poor financial outcomes and threatening insecurity.
