Through our range of community initiatives, grass-roots educational programs, research, and advocacy, we elevate awareness and foster a compassionate environment for those affected with lung conditions. Previously the Ontario Lung Association (OLA), we have been a leader and trusted resource in lung health for over a century.

We concentrate our efforts in five areas of lung health that together affect millions of Canadians. Work in each area can save and improve lives through education, prevention and better treatment and care. We aim to complement and support health systems by providing easy-to-use information and resources directly to clinicians; by helping patients and families access the right supports when they need them; and by empowering people living with lung disease to gain control and confidence in managing their conditions.     

Lung health is historically underfunded and overlooked, yet 1 in 5 Canadians struggle to breathe. Lung Health Foundation is raising awareness for lung disease across Canada, considerable efforts are spent helping people understand our cause and where they can access clinically vetted materials to support their health.
