LutherCare Foundation raises funds to support LutherCare Communities, provider of services to seniors and others in Saskatchewan since 1955.
Our Mission
LutherCare Foundation's principal purpose is to raise funds and provide advocacy that will assist LutherCare Communities to fulfil its mission, enhance care for people with special needs, and respond to annual objectives. The mission of LutherCare Communities is to to provide excellence in care, shelter, and support in a caring Christian environment for all entrusted to our care.
About LUTHERCARE FOUNDATION
LutherCare Foundation is the fundraising arm of LutherCare Communities. Founded in 1955 as Lutheran Sunset Home of Saskatoon, LutherCare Communities has grown to serve a variety of needs through locations across Saskatchewan. Its operations are divided into Health Services, which include Luther Special Care Home and Luther Seniors Centre in Saskatoon; Seniors' Housing, including five developments in Saskatoon, and one each in Estevan, Outlook, and Regina; and Community Services, which includes six group homes for young adults, subsidized housing for young families, and the Home Help support service. In all, LutherCare has some 600 staff members serving approximately 1,300 residents and clients.
