Support Magisterra Soloists This GivingTuesday
Your donations this GivingTuesday will help Magisterra Soloists continue to fulfill its mission of enriching the community through accessible, educational, and inspiring musical experiences.
Magisterra Soloists’ initiatives include:
- Magisterra Sensory Concerts: These inclusive performances are tailored to individuals with sensory sensitivities, ensuring that music is accessible to everyone. The Sensory Concerts are run by Magisterra Fellows, providing these emerging artists with a unique professional development opportunity. Through this program, Fellows gain valuable experience in concert production and deepen their understanding of disability studies in the arts.
- Magisterra in Schools: An interactive educational outreach program that has reached thousands of youth, offering live exposure to classical music. Magisterra is committed to bringing these experiences to underprivileged and rural school communities.
- Magisterra Fellows Mentorship Program: A professional training initiative providing “on the job” mentorship, helping nearly two dozen emerging artists gain the artistic and organizational skills necessary for successful careers in music.
- Young Performer’s Award (YPA): An annual audition program that nurtures school-aged string players by offering recipients a stipend and the opportunity to perform as soloists with the ensemble.
- Educational Video Creation: Developing video resources that can be accessed by teachers and audiences worldwide, extending Magisterra’s reach beyond Southern Ontario.
Your contributions this GivingTuesday will support these programs and ensure that Magisterra Soloists can continue to bring transformative musical experiences to audiences in London, Ontario, and beyond. Together, we can empower the next generation of musicians and foster a more inclusive arts community.
