Our Mandate
We are a member-driven not-for-profit provincial arts service organization for performing and visual arts organizations in rural Manitoba. We support and strengthen arts organizations by fostering a collaborative arts marketplace and ecosystem that is vibrant, sustainable and resilient.
Our Vision
We help build a thriving Manitoba that is attractive to both residents and visitors by working with our members to connect artists with communities and contribute to the economic capacity, and healthy and social well-being of rural Manitobans through the arts.
Our Mission
- We connect visual and performing artists to communities and increase access to the arts in rural communities through showcasing, directories, touring (performers and visual arts exhibitions), block booking, and equity initiatives.
- We help local arts organizations by increasing skills, knowledge, and capacity through professional development including online learning, workshops, coaching, mentorships, knowledge/resource sharing.
- We catalyze productive connections between all players in the arts eco-system through networking and collaborative initiatives.
- We raise awareness and increase the profile of rural arts and artists from Manitoba through promotion and advocacy.
- We champion the use of digital platforms to bring Manitoba artists to national attention and promote touring artists visiting rural Manitoba.
